2Pac – Nu-Mixx Klazzics Album Info: (from HipHopDOA.com)

Nu-Mixx Klazzics is a remix album by 2Pac, released in 2003 by his old record label, Death Row Records. The album includes several songs from 2Pac’s hugely successfull album All Eyez on Me, with new backing tracks and new guest vocals from artists such as Aaron Hall, K-Ci and JoJo, and Tha Outlawz.

Since Tupac’s death his mother Afeni Shakur gained the rights to all of his unreleased music, leaving Death Row only with the rights to the music Tupac released whilst he was on their label, hence the many remix albums released by Death Row since. No singles or videos were released from the project but the album still managed to peak at #15 on the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart, and #5 on the U.S. Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. Accoring to SoundScan figures the album had sold 700,000 copies as of January 2006.

Nu Mixx Klazzics was generally, rightly panned by critics upon its release. The remixes were criticized for being another Death Row ‘cash in’ on their most successful artist, featuring inferior versions of the original tracks. Hip Hop website HipHopDOA.com rate the album as 1/5 stars, and Allmusic reviewed the album and gave it a slightly higher but just as poor 1.5/5 rating.
